Product Description

Stamping is a forming processing method that relies on press and mold to exert external force on plate, strip, pipe and profile to produce plastic deformation or separation, so as to obtain the required shape and size of the workpiece (stamping). Stamping and forging are plastic processing (or pressure processing), collectively called forging. The blank for stamping is mainly hot-rolled and cold-rolled steel plate and strip.
60-70% of the world's steel is sheet, most of which is stamped into finished products. Automobile body, chassis, fuel tank, radiator, boiler drum, container shell, motor, electrical iron core silicon steel sheet and so on are stamping processing. Instruments, household appliances, bicycles, office machinery, household utensils and other products, there are also a large number of stamping parts.
Compared with castings and forgings, the stamping parts have the characteristics of thin, uniform, light and strong. Stamping can increase rigidity by producing parts with stiffeners, ribs, undulations or flanges that would otherwise be difficult to produce. Due to the use of precision die, workpiece accuracy can reach micron level, and high repetition accuracy, consistent specifications, can be stamped out of the hole, boss, etc.
Cold stamping parts are generally no longer machined, or require only a small amount of cutting. The precision and surface state of hot stamping parts are lower than that of cold stamping parts, but they are still better than castings and forgings.
Stamping is an efficient production method, the use of composite die, especially multi-station progressive die, can be completed in a press multi-channel stamping process, to achieve the full automatic production from material unwinding, leveling, blanking to forming, finishing. High production efficiency, good working conditions, low production cost, generally can produce hundreds of pieces per minute.
Stamping is mainly classified by process, which can be divided into two categories: separation process and forming process. Separation process is also called blanking, its purpose is to make the stamping parts along a certain contour line from the sheet metal separation, at the same time to ensure the quality requirements of the separation section. The surface and intrinsic properties of the sheet metal for stamping have a great influence on the quality of the finished product, which requires the thickness of the stamping material to be accurate and uniform. Smooth surface, no spots, no scars, no scratches, no surface cracks, etc. Uniform yield strength, no obvious direction; High uniform elongation; Low compressive strength ratio; Low work hardening.
Stamping parts are mainly metal or non-metal sheet metal, with the help of the pressure of the press, through the stamping die stamping processing, it mainly has the following characteristics:
(1) Stamping parts are made of stamping under the premise of not much material consumption. The parts are light in weight and good in stiffness, and the sheet metal is improved after plastic deformation. The internal structure of the metal is improved, so that the strength of stamping parts is improved.
(2)The stamping parts have high dimensional accuracy, uniform size with the die parts, and good interchangeability. No further machining is required to meet general assembly and use requirements.
(3) Stamping parts in the stamping process, because the surface of the material is not damaged, it has good surface quality, smooth and beautiful appearance, which provides convenient conditions for surface painting, electroplating, phosphating and other surface treatment.
